This Crockpot Salsa Verde Chicken is packed with protein, macro friendly, and easy to make. You can make so many different meals with it. Check out this Salsa Verde Chicken Burrito Bowl.


1 1/2 pounds chicken breast

1 jar of Herdez roasted salsa verde (mild or medium)

1 tsp chili powder

1/2 tsp cumin

1/2 garlic powder



  1. Place chicken in the bottom of the crockpot and season with chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Top with salsa verde. Place lid on crockpot and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6-8 hours.

  2. After its done cooking take two forks and shredded. Enjoy!

  3. If you're counting macros each serving is about 156grams.
