INGREDIENTS

1.5 lbs (680g) baby yellow potatoes

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 tbsp garlic, minced

Salt and black pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS

1. Place the potatoes in a pot of salted water. Bring to a boil and cook for 15-20 minutes, or until fork-tender. Drain and set aside.

2. In a small pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes.

3. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

4. Drain the potatoes and place them in a single layer on the pan.

5. Use the bottom of a glass or a potato masher to carefully flatten each potato.
