I love simple meals that you can throw in a crockpot and have ready by dinner. And this Salsa Verde Chicken checks all those boxes. Tonight I made nachos with it and they were amazing. I will be sharing that recipe on my instagram @macro_miranda. I also love that you can make salads, tacos, and burritos with it too depending on what you're craving.
2 lbs chicken breast
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1. Place chicken in the crockpot and top with salsa verde, cumin, and garlic powder.
2. Cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6 hours.
3. When chicken is done it will shred easy with two forks. Cook for another 10-15 minutes after shredding chicken. Enjoy!
