INSTANT POT CHICKEN ALFREDO

Dinner can't get any easier then this Instant Pot Chicken Alfredo meal. Its packed with protein and made with Rao's Alfredo sauce. I would even say that it is pretty macro friendly for being Chicken Alfredo.



INGREDIENTS


1 1/2 pounds chicken breast, diced

1 box fettuccine noodles

1 jar Rao's Alfredo sauce

1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese

2.5 cups water

2 garlic cloves

salt/pepper





DIRECTIONS

  1. Press the sauté button. Spray bottom of Instant pot with non-stick cooking spray.

  2. Add chicken and season with garlic, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 2 minutes on each side until brown but not cooked through. After browning chicken turn off sauté.

  3. Add Alfredo sauce and 1/2 cup water and mix with chicken. Break noodles in half and lay on top of chicken. Add the rest of the water but no not stir. Cover noodles as much as you can. Place lid on Instant pot and make sure valve is set to sealing. Set manual (high pressure) for 5 minutes.

  4. When timer beeps let instant pot natural release for 5 minutes. Move valve to venting. Once all pressure is release, remove lid.

  5. Mix together noodles and sauce. Add Parmesan cheese and mix.

  6. Enjoy!
