INGREDIENTS
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 egg
Cooking spray
DIRECTIONS
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Cut your chicken in half lengthwise. In a bag, mix together the flour, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
Whisk one egg in a bowl. In another bowl, mix together the bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese.
Coat the chicken breasts in the flour mixture, then eggs, then bread crumbs mixture.
Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
Place the coated chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Cook for 12-14 minutes, flipping the chicken halfway through, until the chicken is golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Once cooked, remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
