TURKEY CHEESE TORTELLINI BAKE

This turkey cheese tortellini bake cheesy, packed with protein, and a great dinner for the whole family.









You should know now that I am a sucker for easy meal especially with two little ones running around. I love this meal because you can add veggies to hide in it for your picky eaters.


INGREDIENTS

1 pound ground turkey

20oz cheese tortellini

1 cup spinach, diced

1 jar marinara sauce

1 cup water

1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 tsp garlic powder

salt/pepper


DIRECTIONS

  1. Heat a medium size pot over medium heat. Add ground turkey and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until no longer pink in the middle.

  2. Add 1 cup of spinach and mix. Add marinara sauce and water and mix. set aside.

  3. Spray a casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray. Add tortellini to bottom of casserole dish. Top with sauce mixture and spread evenly. Then top with shredded cheese.

  4. Cover casserole dish with aluminum foil. Bake on 350 degrees for 30 minutes, uncover and bake for attentional 10 minutes.
