The 2 Ingredient Protein Bagel: A Delicious and Nutritious Alternative to Traditional Bagels.

Traditional bagels are often high in calories and low in nutrients, making them an unhealthy

choice for many. Fortunately, there's a new

alternative that's taking the world by storm: the 2 ingredient protein bagel. I even put more of a twist on them and made 3 ingredient blueberry protein bagels.

Let's start by talking about the ingredients. Greek yogurt is high in protein and low in fat, which makes it an excellent choice for those looking to maintain a healthy diet. In fact, some studies have even suggested that eating Greek yogurt can help you lose weight and improve your overall health. Self-raising flour is another key ingredient that gives the bagels their signature texture and flavor. Adding in blueberries for even more micronutrients.

But what about the nutrient content of these bagels? Well, it turns out that the 2 ingredient protein bagel is actually packed with nutrients. In fact, each bagel contains around 10 grams of protein, which is more than most traditional bagels. They're also low in fat and calories, making them a great choice for those looking to maintain a healthy weight.

1 cup all purpose flour or self rising flour (omit baking powder and salt if using self rising flour)

2 tsp baking powder

3/4 tsp salt

30g frozen blueberries

1 egg white

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spray with non-stick cooking spray.

  2. Combine all purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and greek yogurt, in a bowl until a dough starts to form. Add blueberries and knead until berries are mixed well into dough.

  3. Turn dough on a lightly floured surface. Divide into 4 equal balls. Rolled into a ball then flatten and poke a hole in middle of the dough. Place on prepared baking sheet.

  4. Brush egg white over the top of each bagel.

  5. Bake for 20-22 minutes.
